It’s made using a trio of colors in Georgia Peach, Sandshell and Heather Blue. All worked together using the bobble stitch.

Materials: 

Hook: US size I/9 (5.5mm) crochet hook or size needed to match gauge 

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn 

  • 350 yds beige (A) 
  • 350 yds peach (B) 
  • 350 yds purple (C) 

Notions: 

  • Scissors 
  • Tapestry needle 

Gauge: 13 sc x 12 rows= 4” 

Size: 35” x 40”

Special Stitches: 

Bobble (bo): [Yo, insert hook in indicated st, pull up a loop, yo, pull through the first two loops on the hook] 5 times, yo and pull through all 6 loops on hook. 

Notes: 

This pattern is relatively straightforward, but be very careful with counting your stitches! It is very easy to get one or two stitches off and not notice for a few rows. For better bobbles, make sure you keep your tension nice and loose.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (116 sc) 

Rows 2-3: Ch 1, sc in each st across. 

Row 4: Ch 1, sc in each of first 3 sts, bo in next st, [sc in each of next 9 sts, bo in next st] across to last 3 sts, sc in each of last 3 sts. (105 sc, 11 bo) 

Rows 5-7: Ch 1, sc in each st across. (116 sc) 

Row 8: Ch 1, sc in each of first 8 sts, bo in next st, [sc in each of next 9 sts, bo in next st] across to last 8 sts, sc in each of last 8 sts. (106 sc, 10 bo) 

Rows 9-11: Ch 1, sc in each st across. 

Rows 12-40: Repeat rows 4-11 an additional 3 times, then repeat rows 4-8 once more. Change to B; Fasten off A. 

Rows 41-80: Repeat rows 9-11, then repeat rows 4-11 4 times, then repeat rows 4-8 once more. Change to C; Fasten off B.
