I’m a firm believer that a child can never have too many stuffed animals. When I was little, my room was filled to the brim with bunnies and dolls, and teddy bears.
So, keeping with that tradition here’s the Bow Tie Teddy Bear Crochet Pattern.
This classic crochet teddy is made in soft grays with an adorable bow tie added in. It’s made using Universal Uptown Worsted Yarn which is 100% acrylic. Acrylic is machine washable and extra soft, so your little one can cuddle their new friend to their heart's desire.
This is the perfect crochet gift for the little ones in your life who need another guest for their tea parties. This crochet teddy bear will become your go-to gift whenever you have someone special to make something for or to donate to your local children's charity.
Don't be hesitant in making these cute little animals because you don't know where to start. I have an Amigurumi course to learn step by step exactly how to make any of your favorite crochet animals. You can check out the video trainings here free for 2 days.

Assembly and finishing:
Beginning with the bow tie, take one of the tails of the strap and sew to the center of the bow tie. Wrap the strap around the bear’s neck, and sew the other side to the center of the bow tie. Center unstuffed arm pieces 1 row down from bow tie strap in desired position, and whip st the open end to the body. Stuff the leg pieces and shape. Place legs in desired position 2-3 rows up from the center of bottom, and whip st in place. Wrap latte yarn around your fingers about 75 times. Tie a 10” piece of yarn around the center, and slide off fingers before tightening the knot. Trim ends and fluff into pom pom shape. Use the tails to attach to backside, and weave the ends back into the pom pom. Trim the tails to blend in with the rest of the pom pom.
